Ibrahim Ali Khan has received a wave of marriage proposals after he took to social media for Diwali.

The son of Saif Ali Khan took to Instagram and sported traditional attire. Ibrahim wore a Resham kurta from Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s Mard collection.

It was a cream and turquoise outfit that was complete with brown shoes.

Alongside the photos, he posted the caption: “Diwali toh khatam ho gayi, ab caption nahi mil raha hai.”

While the designers said the regal look made him look like a prince, his female social media followers could not get over the look.

Many complimented his look while others asked to marry him. Some even sent funny chat-up lines to Ibrahim.

One girl said: “Marry me.”

Another commented: “Let’s turn this into Holi. Mujhe tere rang main rangna hai.”

One wrote: “You look stunning.”

One stated that no caption was needed, the look was enough.

Apart from garnering new admirers, Ibrahim Ali Khan is now in Mumbai after studying in the UK.

As well as the solo pictures, Ibrahim also posed with his sister Sara Ali Khan and their mother Amrita Singh. All three were in outfits from Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla for Diwali.

On the work front, there have been persistent rumours that Ibrahim will enter Bollywood soon.

While there is no confirmation when that will be, his father Saif Ali Khan said he is fine with his son entering the industry.

Saif said: “Ibrahim seems prepared for a career in acting. And why not? I’d like all my children to be in this profession. It is the best place to work in.”

He went on to recall the state he was in when he was a teenager and the impact acting had on his life. He said:

“I remember at 17-18 I was a mess. Acting saved me from self-destruction.”

“Having the job, the sense of identity it has given me and the job satisfaction and the enjoyment it has given me are more than I could ask for.”

Previously, Saif was asked whether he would launch Ibrahim’s acting career. He explained:

“I don’t know if I will launch him. It’s an option and films are certainly a viable career choice for him. He’s sporty and likes the idea of being in the movies rather than pursuing an academic job.

“No one in the family, with the exception of his sister (Sara Ali Khan), have been interested in the latter anyway.”
