Opening up about Rimma’s visit to Mumbai, Kiara said she made sure her mother-in-law had panipuri on her first day in the city.

Revealing that she had a panipuri stall at her wedding, Kiara said:

“Of course. My mother-in-law loves panipuri.

“She is currently staying with us in Mumbai. So the first day when she came, since I know she loves panipuri, I said ‘today we will make panipuri at home, this way I will butter her up’, she will love me to another level.

“It really impressed her and made her happy.”

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra got married in February 2023, in a star-studded but low-key ceremony at Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace.

For the ceremony, Kiara looked elegant in a shimmering pink ensemble from Manish Malhotra. The lehenga featured intricate details.

It contrasted with extravagant jewellery which featured emeralds.

Meanwhile, Sidharth opted for an off-white sherwani that featured gold detailing, giving it a regal edge

He completed the look with a golden turban.

Celebrity guests included Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor and Juhi Chawla.

Isha Ambani, who is a childhood friend of Kiara’s, was also in attendance.

Things were kept fairly private at the traditional wedding, with security being deployed.

A no-phone policy was also implemented to prevent wedding pictures from being leaked.

The newlyweds then held a grand reception in Mumbai, which was attended by Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Ananya Panday, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, among many others.

Speaking about Sidharth, Kiara said:

“I got married recently, and it was a love marriage. So naturally, I believe in true love.”

“A home is made by two people and I feel lucky, that my partner, the man I have chosen, my husband is also my best friend.

“He is my everything, my home. Wherever I am, he is my family, my home.”
