It is reported that Kiara Advani’s brother Mishaal Advani has written a song for her rumoured wedding and will perform it at the sangeet ceremony.
Kiara is reportedly getting married to Sidharth Malhotra after lots of speculation about their relationship.
They are set to tie the knot at Suryagarh Palace in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer on February 6, 2023.
Kiara was spotted with designer Manish Malhotra, who is said to be the official wedding couturier, at Jaisalmer airport.
According to reports, her brother will be singing a special song for the couple at their sangeet ceremony.
A source told Bollywood Hungama:
“As it is known that Kiara is very close to her brother Mishaal, the latter has made a song for the Shershaah pair.
“He will perform it during the sangeet ceremony.”
Mishaal is a rapper, composer and music director. He released his first track, titled ‘Know My Name’ in November 2022.
The bride and groom are believed to be also performing on their big day.
The playlist for the festivities includes ‘Kala Chashma’, ‘Bijlee’, ‘Rangisaari’, ‘Disco Deewane’, ‘Nachne de Saare’, among several others.
Kiara and Sidharth will also be dancing to ‘Raatan Lambiyaan’, the soulful romantic number from their film Shershaah.
The pair grew close during filming of Shershaah. Since then, they have been seen at events together and on holiday.
They welcomed 2023 in Dubai together, where they were accompanied by Manish Malhotra and Karan Johar.
In January 2023, Kiara Advani cheered for Sidharth Malhotra at the screening of his film Mission Majnu.
However, they have never spoken about their relationship publicly.
During an appearance on Koffee with Karan, Kiara recalled her first meeting with Sidharth. She said:
“Funnily, Sid and I knew each other before we were cast together in Shershaah.
“We started talking at the wrap-up party of Lust Stories – which we crashed. We casually met. I’ll never forget that night.”
While Bollywood celebrities such as Athiya Shetty have opted for low-key ceremonies, Kiara and Sidharth’s wedding will be the opposite.
It is believed that approximately 100 guests will attend, many of whom are celebrities.
The likes of Shahid Kapoor, his wife Mira Rajput and Karan Johar were spotted exiting Jaisalmer Airport.
Meanwhile, Sidharth’s family seemingly confirmed the wedding.
His mother said she is excited to welcome her “daughter-in-law” to the family, telling the paparazzi:
“We are very excited.”
When asked about the details of the wedding festivities, she replied:
“I’ll let you know. Thank you.”
