Hira Mani came under fire for her choice of outfit for the premiere of her new film Teri Meri Kahaniyaan.
The actress was seen meeting Humayun Saeed and posing with him for photographs.
For the event, Hira donned a navy saree with feathered details on the shoulders.
Her hair was tied back but still featured a wavy style.
However, her outfit gained unwanted attention.
Fans quickly took to social media to express their disappointment towards the actress and claimed the outfit was provocative.
Fans also stated they did not like how she was becoming too modern and that they felt it was so she would stay relevant in the entertainment industry.
One fan commented: “Stop following and considering them as heroes. They’re real culprits who have destroyed our social fabric and Islamic values.”

Hira previously spoke about being trolled and revealed what it has taught her.
She said: “There is a lot of disturbance [due to controversies]. One should think before speaking [and] there is no harm in it.
“One learns. People are very sensitive. They misinterpret. But why? Why can’t they be normal and simple?
“They haunt you, taunt you so much until you cry hiding your face in the pillow.
“They take you to a level where you don’t feel [at] peace.”
Teri Meri Kahaniyaan is an anthology film that explores the field of romance.
It features a blend of genres, including horror and comedy.
In addition to Hira Mani, Teri Meri Kahaniyaan also stars Wahaj Ali, Mehwish Hayat, Ramsha Khan, Sheheryar Munawar, Zahid Ahmed and Amna Ilyas.
Hira revealed that she broke into tears on the first day of filming.
She explained that her character Mumtaz was not very glamorous and that her makeup was applied to give her a dishevelled look.
Due to this, when Hira first saw herself in the mirror, she burst into tears.
But she said that this motivated her, stating that it was an opportunity for her to showcase her talent.
