Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his actress wife Geeta Basra welcome their first child together in London on July 27, 2016.
The 36-year-old bowler, yet to share any photos of his newborn, announces the amazing news on Twitter:
“We are proud to announce that we have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl & look forward to parenthood with our little angel.
“Thank you Almighty for blessing us, and thank you to our family, friends and fans for the love and good wishes. #Grateful.”
His current team, Mumbai Indians, is among the first to congratulate the couple on social media.
Indian cricket’s new head coach Anil Kumble, cricketers Suresh Raina and Virat Kohli also post their hearty messages:

The 32-year-old actress was first seen with a baby bump at the Indian Premier League opening ceremony in April 2016.
The couple did not confirm the pregnancy news until June 2016, when Geeta shared photos of her baby shower on Instagram.
Harbhajan has previously spoken about his experience of being a first-time father: “Pregnant or otherwise, it’s not easy to stay with a woman. I try to be understanding, and I help her be comfortable.
“One must try to understand her situation and be as supportive as possible. That’s what I do!”
Harbhajan and Geeta got married in a star-studded and elaborate ceremony on October 29, 2015.
They flew to the UK in summer 2016 to attend Geeta’s brother Rahul’s graduation from University of Portsmouth. She looks radiant with her full baby bump in a flowery dress.
