British DJ and Grammy-winning producer Fred again.. recently unveiled a new remix of ‘Pal Pal’ by Pakistani music duo Afusic and Ali Soomro.
He played the energetic new remix during a live streaming event alongside the Mexican music group Latin Mafia.
Fred again.. selected the specific version created by the Pakistani duo in collaboration with Indian musician Talwiinder.
Afusic, whose real name is Affan Khan, and Soomro excitedly shared clips of the livestream on Instagram.
The two musicians stated on social media that the track quickly grew into something much larger than themselves.
Soomro shared the deep personal background behind the track within a detailed caption posted on his Instagram.
He explained that the creative duo built this music project after finishing their regular daily work shifts:
“We made this song purely out of love.
“We just wanted to make something we believed in and let the world hear it.”
He fondly recalled their exhausting late-night studio sessions following long hours spent at their normal jobs.
“I still remember Afusic coming to the studio late at night after work, and I’d already be there, excited because we were about to create something together.”

The musician praised producer Abdullah Kasumbi for providing crucial guidance during the early stages of their careers.
“He believed in us, gave us direction and made sure our potential didn’t go to waste.
“His mentorship played a huge role in helping us grow.”
Soomro also acknowledged Talwiinder for trusting the project and adding his unique creative style to the collaboration.
He reflected deeply on the massive international response that immediately followed the release of the British remix.
“Seeing Fred put his own twist on the track made me realise how small the world really is.”
The original version of ‘Pal Pal’ gained immense streaming traction when it was first released to audiences in 2025.
Its widespread popularity pushed Afusic and Soomro to eighth and ninth places on Spotify’s most-streamed Pakistani artists list.
Streaming data shows that ‘Pal Pal’ is currently the second most-streamed song in Pakistan over five years.
This unexpected international co-sign marks a massive milestone for the rising independent musicians from Pakistan and India.
