Fawad Khan has returned to Twitter after almost two years.
This led fans to jokingly question whether he had been hacked.
The Pakistani actor tweeted on the social media platform on Thursday, November 11, 2021, much to the surprise of many.
His first post after the hiatus was the music video for a new song by Mekaal Hassan and Poor Rich Boy called ‘Khudi Kya Hai?’
The song is a tribute to revered poet and philosopher Allama Iqbal‘s 144th birth anniversary.

Khan’s last Twitter post had been on February 22, 2020, ahead of the release of The Legend of Maula Jatt (2020).
The movie star had shared an image of himself from the first day of shooting the film in which he played the titular character.
He added the caption: “This was the day all the blood, sweat and tears began. It was my first day of the shoot.
“Thought we’d share this with you as the adventure begins this Eid-Ul-Fitr.”
The Legend of Maula Jatt (2020), a remake of the cult classic Maula Jatt (1979), quickly became a major box office success.
Khan’s Twitter return comes after he also uploaded on Instagram ahead of Pakistan’s T20 World Cup major win against India
The actor shared a photo of the match on his TV screen.
His last Instagram post had been of the song ‘Nimmi Nimmi’ by Farhad Humayun and Overload on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.

Fawad Khan made his acting debut in the television sitcom, Jutt and Bond (2001 – 2004) on Indus Vision.
After a short stint in a rock band called Entity Paradigm with the show’s co-stars, he left to pursue his acting career.
Khan made his film debut in social drama Khuda Kay Liye (2007), which became one of Pakistan’s highest-grossing films.
He has since appeared in a number of highly successful films and TV shows alike and also made his Bollywood debut.
The actor was cast as the lead in rom-com, Khoobsurat (2014), for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
He was also highly praised for his portrayal of a closeted gay man in the successful family drama, Kapoor & Sons (2016).
It is not known whether Fawad Khan has any upcoming projects.
