Punjabi stars Diljit Dosanjh and Honsla Rakh co-star Sonam Bajwa decided to pay a surprise visit to their fans during the film’s Canada screening.
Diljit, Sonam, Shehnaaz Gill and Shinda Grewal have set a new record both in India and overseas with their film Honsla Rakh.
The film was released on October 15, 2021, and is currently earning a lot of praise in cinemas and maintaining a stronghold at the box office.
To thank the fans in person, Diljit and Sonam decided to visit cinemas across Canada screening Honsla Rakh.
Diljit took to social media to share several videos of the surprise visits.
In the videos, the fans could not control their joy.
Netizens reacted to the videos and left praise for the Punjabi singer and actor.

Upon their visit to the cinema screenings, both Diljit and Sonam thanked their fans for all the love that they have given to Honsla Rakh.
Afterwards, they took pictures with their fans.
In a video posted to Twitter on November 3, 2021, Diljit can be seen jokingly telling Sonam to hold the camera higher to ensure the fans can be seen at a cinema screening.

Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, Honsla Rakh is a comedy-drama film with Diljit and Shinda as the lead characters.
The Punjabi singer plays an NRI in Canada while Shehnaaz plays his wife.
They go on a date and it results in an accidental pregnancy.
She then files for divorce and insists that Diljit should have custody of their unborn child.
Shinda Grewal, the son of actor Gippy Grewal, plays Diljit’s son.
They play father and son and their relationship on screen has been described by netizens as heartwarming.
Honsla Rakh focuses on Diljit’s character developing as a single father and taking care of his son.
As his son grows older, Diljit falls in love with another woman, played by Sonam Bajwa.
He tries to woo her in a bid to have a mother figure for his son. However, things are turned upside down when his first wife returns.
Honsla Rakh continues to break box office records.
On October 22, 2021, Diljit took to Instagram to share the box office collection figures for the first week of release.
