Diljit Dosanjh was performing in Vancouver when he dedicated his concert to the late Sidhu Moose Wala, leaving fans emotional.

Diljit Dosanjh paid tribute to the late Sidhu Moose Wala during his concert in Vancouver.

Sidhu was shot dead on May 29, 2022, in the Mansa district of Punjab. An investigation into his death is ongoing.

Tributes have been paid to the singer and in Vancouver, Diljit Dosanjh dedicated his concert to Sidhu.

As part of his ‘Born to Shine’ tour, Diljit sang a few special tracks in memory of Sidhu.

The phrase ‘This Show Is Dedicated To Our Brothers’ lit up the stage on a screen.

Diljit also paid tribute to late kabaddi player Sandeep Singh Sandhu and Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu.

During his tribute, Diljit addressed how people are trying to pull down those who find fame, whether it is in the online world or the real one.

He also sang about that emotional moment when Sidhu’s father took off his turban during his son’s funeral, saying:

“I have immense respect for you and your turban.”

Diljit also urged the Punjabi community to stick together as there are many who are trying to break it up.

Warning those who are targeting Punjabis and Moosewala’s memory, he said:

“Moose Wala’s name is written on hearts, it will take a lot to wipe it off.”

His tribute resulted in fans cheering as they paid their respects.

The actor and singer shared a video of the performance on Instagram and wrote:

“One love.”

Diljit Dosanjh’s heartfelt gesture left fans emotional as they hailed his tribute.

Another wrote: “I can feel the anger and peace that you are feeling.”

A third commented: “Thank you for raising what many couldn’t… Punjab lost its iconic star. Both of them were so vocal about Punjab.”

Sidhu Moose Wala had universal recognition and after his death, Drake paid tribute on his new radio show.

In his new show called Table for One, Drake played some of his favourite numbers, including two songs by Sidhu Moose Wala.

The rapper paid a tribute to the late Punjabi singer-rapper by playing his songs ‘295’ and ‘G-S***’.
