"I did end up manifesting that guy (and married him)"

Sajal Aly shared a cryptic post where she spoke about red flags in relationships and marriage.

It has led to questions over whether it was a hint about the reason why her marriage to Ahad Raza Mir ended.

The breakdown of Sajal Aly and Ahad Raz Mir’s marriage was a very public and talked about event in 2022.

The star-studded showbiz couple tied the knot after their undeniable chemistry on television blossomed into a romantic fairytale.

They got married in March 2020.

However, it wasn’t long before divorce rumours fuelled the internet when Ahad Raza Mir was not seen at Sajal’s sister, Saboor Aly’s wedding festivities.

They officially divorced in 2022.

The official reasoning for their separation has never been publicly aired by either actor.

Despite Ahad Raza Mir’s frequent inactivity on social media, he has largely avoided talking about the topic.

Additionally, Sajal Aly’s acting career has taken off since her divorce, with recent achievements including Jemima Goldsmith’s What’s Love Got To Do With It?

With her prominent position in the limelight, Sajal has avoided shedding light on the subject of her and her ex’s issues within their marriage.

To date, Sajal has remained cordial about her divorce online.

But on April 11, 2023, the actress seemingly hinted at the reason for the breakdown in her marriage.

She shared a cryptic repost of an Instagram reel by Pakistani influencer Tamkenat Mansoor.

The reel outlined the red flags women may ignore in a relationship, which become worse when entering a marriage.

Sajal Aly reposted the reel to her Instagram Story and captioned it: “Thank you for talking about it.”

The original post read: “I have been seeing a rather dangerous trend in some manifestation videos regarding love and relationships.

“Where ignoring the red flags and repeating patterns and staying in a constant state of denial is advised and promoted.”

“Since I have been in this place myself and yes, I did end up manifesting that guy (and married him) but it destroyed my life, and my self-esteem and left me with soul-deep scars and trauma.

“Living with a positive mindset is one thing but staying in a state of complete denial and ignoring reality is never good.

“These videos are splattered across social media where affirming mindlessly and living in an alternate reality but doing nothing to try and understand your triggers and attachment styles is promoted by self-proclaimed gurus.

“I felt like I needed to say something regarding it. From a place of love, care and my trauma.”
