"Rakhi Sawant has been in jail for two days."
Salman Khan had a sharp response for Devoleena Bhattacharjee after the latter taunted Rakhi Sawant over claims she had been in jail.
A promo for Bigg Boss 15‘s Weekend Ka Vaar saw the contestants take part in a task that appeared to be about making sensational claims about each other.
Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Tejasswi Prakash and Rakhi Sawant were seated in a special set-up, doubling up as news anchors.
Devoleena covered her face as Rakhi claimed:
“Did you all know that she is already married?”
Tejasswi took aim at Abhijit Bichukale and said:
“He did a six-hour-long kissing scene in a music video.”
When it came to Devoleena, she hit back at Rakhi, saying:
“Rakhi Sawant has been in jail for two days.”
This prompted Salman Khan to tell Devoleena that he has been jail.
He told her: “Your host has been in jail too.”
In 2018, Salman spent two nights in Jodhpur Central Jail in connection with a poaching case. He was later released on bail.
He has also had other stints in jail in the past.
The promo also showed some members of the media who were invited to the show. They said that Abhijit was given a free hand to behave badly.
Rashami Desai agreed with their point and said:
“He has a horrible mentality when it comes to women.”
This annoyed Abhijit and he claimed that his reputation was being damaged.
As one media person asked him to apologise, Abhijit shouted:
“Do you know who I am?”
Salman interrupted him and said: “Zip it.”
In an episode of Bigg Boss 15, Tejasswi protested after Shamita downgraded her from the VIP status during a task.
From passing snarky comments to calling out Bigg Boss for favouring Shamita, Tejasswi’s behaviour angered Salman Khan.
He asked her why she feels that the entire world is against her and added:
“Tejasswi, why do you always have just one problem – that the entire world is against you? You keep talking ill about the channel.
“Each complaint of yours against the channel is being shown. That is like biting the hand that feeds you, who does that?”
“You do not even respect Karan Kundrra. Why are you playing this sympathy card?”
Tejasswi Prakash then told him: “I do not want sympathy.”
An angry Salman yelled back, saying: “Shut up Tejasswi.”
