"This was his way of bringing us together again."
Conclusion’s long-awaited 15-year reunion concert turned into a night of nostalgia, emotion, and unbreakable musical brotherhood.
Hundreds of fans from Dhaka and other cities defied heavy rain to attend the celebration, filling the auditorium with cheers and memories.
The show opened with an energetic performance by The Head Office, who set the tone for the evening with their powerful sound.
After performing a few original tracks, the band paid tribute to late musician AK Ratul with a moving cover of ‘My Hero’ by Foo Fighters.
As visuals of Ratul filled the LED screen, the atmosphere turned emotional, reminding everyone of his enduring influence on the music community.
Outside, the city was drenched by a storm, but fans continued pouring in, refusing to let the weather dampen their excitement. At around 6 pm, Conclusion took the stage.
Vocalist Hassan Munhamanna, guitarists Zakir Hossain and Ekram Wasi, drummer Zakir Hossain, keyboardist Jagot Jit, and bassist Fardin Fayez Omee, all were present.
The crowd erupted when former vocalist Atif Imtiaz made a surprise entrance mid-performance, joining his old bandmates after years of separation.
A few songs later, former bassist Maheyan Hasan joined in, completing the long-awaited reunion that fans had been dreaming of for years.
Throughout the concert, the band repeatedly paid homage to their late mentor and co-founder, AK Ratul, whose guidance shaped their journey.
Guitarist and sound engineer Zakir Hossain said that everything Conclusion had become was because of Ratul’s mentorship and influence.
He shared that even the idea for this reunion emerged during Ratul’s Milad, when members decided to honour his memory through music.
Zakir said: “This was his way of bringing us together again.”
The four-hour concert was a memorable celebration of music, with several notable musicians joining the band on stage.
Artists like Owned’s Pritom and Fasih, Nemesis’ Ifaz, and Trainwreck’s Minhaz Ahmed Mridul performed alongside Conclusion in various sets.
Fans sang and chanted along to beloved tracks like ‘Tin Chaka’, ‘Firey Esho’, ‘Porinita’, ‘Nite Paro’, ‘Mohakashchari’, and ‘Priyo Ondhokar’.
Atif also surprised the audience with an unreleased song, adding fresh excitement to an already electrifying evening.
Munhamanna performed both with Conclusion and his other band Absentia.
As the night approached its finale, the band made a major announcement that left fans both surprised and overjoyed.
Conclusion revealed that moving forward, both Atif and Munhamanna would continue as official vocalists, marking a new era for the group.
The concert reached its emotional peak when they performed ‘Shajo Tumi’ as a duet, blending past and present voices into one powerful harmony.
