"Vijay anna is responsible for me losing my child."
Actor and former nurse Julie, also known as Marie Juliana, has made a deeply emotional and shocking revelation at a press conference in Chennai.
The Bigg Boss Tamil contestant and Jallikattu protest icon alleged that relentless online trolling led to her suffering a miscarriage after her marriage.
She claimed the targeted harassment came from supporters of actor and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay and his party Thamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam.
Julie had filed a police complaint in March 2026 against eight individuals over what she described as sustained trolling and character assassination.
She revealed that she received a notice stating her complaint fell under civil defamation rather than criminal defamation, which frustrated her considerably.
She also expressed confusion over why the notice was issued to her following the political transition from the DMK government to Vijay’s TVK administration.
Shortly after that, she alleged, a kidney scam worth Rs 15 lakh was fabricated and circulated against her to damage her public reputation.
She alleged a TVK supporter and an advocate were behind the claims, saying:
“They created a perfect story, screenplay, direction and narration for this.”
Julie then made the revelation that has since dominated headlines and conversations across Tamil Nadu’s political and entertainment circles alike.
“We lost our baby. I had just gotten married, and we lost our first baby.
“My child died due to severe mental anguish caused by online harassment.”
She was clear about why she was choosing to share such an intensely personal detail in a very public setting and forum.
“I could use this for sympathy, but my point is that defamatory and derogatory remarks are being made about my husband and me.
“Just because a woman speaks about TVK, you ruin her name without a conscience…I have nothing to say.”
Julie also directed her frustration at Vijay himself, questioning his priorities as the newly elected Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
“Instead of orchestrating attacks against those who speak against his people, shouldn’t he focus on doing something for the public?”
She clarified that while the complaint was filed during the DMK regime, it coincided with election season and had still not been properly addressed.
“But now that another government has come into power, shouldn’t they take responsibility?”
She further alleged that her complaint was not being taken seriously precisely because the eight accused individuals were TVK supporters.
Her most emotionally charged statement of the entire press conference drew immediate reactions from all corners of social media.
“Vijay anna is responsible for me losing my child.
“He might not have done it directly. But if he had said just one word and asked them to back off, I wouldn’t have lost what I lost today.”
Reporters pressed her on why she was linking Vijay directly to anonymous social media accounts that had targeted her online.
“I am speaking because this happened to me now.”
The reaction to her statements was swift and divided, with Vijay’s fans also taking to social media in considerable numbers to question Julie’s logic.
