Badshah has unveiled a bold new chapter in his career with ‘Galiyon Ke Ghalib’, a hypnotic synth-pop anthem and the centrepiece of his latest EP, Fitoor.

The five-track EP marks a striking creative evolution and for the first time, it sees the rapper perform a solo dance routine on camera.

The music video for ‘Galiyon Ke Ghalib’ blends swagger and choreography in equal measure.

Its propulsive beat and street-smart lyricism are elevated by Badshah’s dance performance, offering fans a never-before-seen side of the artist.

The track is both sonically infectious and visually daring.

Its layered synths and bold production crystallise the EP’s broader ambitions: to push Desi hip-hop beyond genre boundaries and toward a more global stage.

Badshah said: “Fitoor represents a pivotal moment in my artistic journey, a profound exploration of self and sound where I’ve shed the constraints of expectation to embrace creative autonomy.

“‘Galiyon Ke Ghalib’ is a testament to this metamorphosis, a track that embodies the raw experimental energy I’ve always strived for, fuelled by a primal love for hip-hop and the kaleidoscopic culture that has shaped and defined my unique creative expression.

“It’s an unapologetic expression of my artistry, and I hope will resonate with listeners on a visceral level.

The EP opens with ‘Dear Aditya’, a personal letter to his younger self. Named after his birth name, Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, the song reflects on his childhood and creative rise.

Themes of vulnerability and resilience drive the song, with its introspective tone underpinned by an emotionally charged visual narrative.

From there, the mood shifts with ‘Blessed’, an ode to gratitude and personal triumph.

Filmed in Nepal, the music video complements the track’s mix of reflective lyrics and polished production.

It serves as a celebration of how far Badshah has come, both as an artist and as an individual.

‘Velvet Flow’ offers yet another sonic twist. Merging smooth R&B with bold hip-hop lyricism, the track showcases Badshah’s versatility.

Its confident delivery and braggadocious edge make it one of the EP’s most assertive moments, complete with a video that blends glamour with grit.

‘Galiyon Ke Ghalib’ serves as the EP’s standout track before it ends with ‘Jordan’.

Across Fitoor, Badshah embraces a new level of creative risk.

From genre-defying production to self-revealing lyrics, the EP delivers an honest look at the man behind the music.

‘Galiyon Ke Ghalib’ presents a never-before-seen side of Badshah, highlighting that it is more than a song.
