"I like the idea, but this is just disrespect."
Pakistani singer Atif Aslam briefly paused his concert in Berlin after an unusual incident on stage.
Two mobile phones landed on the stage while he was performing in front of the crowd.
A video from the concert captured the exact moment this incident took place.
The footage showed Aslam noticing the first phone as it hit the stage during his performance.
He reacted by saying: “Phone hi phenk diya unhone.”
This translates to him pointing out that someone had thrown their phone itself towards him.
Just seconds later, a second phone landed near him while he continued performing.
He responded to this by saying: “At this point it’s probably broken”
The incident took place during his show at Berlin’s Uber Arena.
This concert was part of his ongoing Subah Aye Na Europe tour across the continent.
The tour includes a total of eight shows spread across eight different countries.
It began in Manchester on September 11, 2026, before moving to other major cities.
The tour also covers stops in Paris, Berlin, Oslo, Rotterdam, Copenhagen, Barcelona and Milan.
This is not the first time Aslam has paused a show due to audience behaviour.
During a concert in the United States back in 2023, a similar incident occurred.
A fan had thrown currency notes at him while he was singing on stage.
Aslam stopped the song immediately and called the fan up onto the stage.
He then asked the fan to donate the money instead of throwing it at him.
“My friend, you can come back and donate this money.
“Come, please come. I know you are very rich and I appreciate that.”
“Please donate the money. I like the idea, but this is just disrespect to the money.”
He concluded by saying: “Don’t throw it at me.”
A different kind of interruption took place at a concert in Dhaka in April 2024.
A woman climbed onto the stage and hugged Aslam while crying during his performance.
Videos from that show captured her holding onto him before she was escorted away.
Aslam spoke to her briefly, shook her hand and gave her a short hug.
He then resumed his performance shortly after the emotional moment had passed.
A similar situation occurred more recently in May 2026 at a concert in Karachi.
The show took place at the DHA Sports Club, where a female fan climbed on stage.
She approached the singer while he was mid-performance, hoping to take selfies with him.
Atif Aslam initially responded with ease and even posed for a photo with her.
Organisers eventually intervened and requested the fan to return to the audience area.
However, she remained on stage and kept moving closer to the performer repeatedly.
As the disruption continued, security personnel were forced to step in.
They gradually managed the situation and escorted the fan off the stage safely.
