Anushka Sharma opened up about her relationship and revealed what impressed her the most about Virat Kohli when they first started dating.
The couple attended the Indian Sports Honours event and during a fun chat, Anushka spoke about the early days of her relationship with Virat.
The actress revealed that Virat’s good memory impressed her.
Virat accepted that he remembers things better than his wife.
The cricketer explained: “My memory is a little better so. She gives me important dates to remember.
“So, I have gotten better at remembering them. She tells me beforehand, to be fair. I remember the important things, the small stuff I forget.”
Anushka added: “One of the things which I was very impressed with before we started dating was that his memory is really good.
“This will really help me.”
The couple also revealed the real reason why they tend to leave parties and events early.
Anushka said: “It’s not an excuse, it’s the reality that when you have a child then you can’t be so social.
“We are happy actually because both of us are not very social. We like normal stuff, spending time at home.
“We don’t even get to spend that much time with each other.
“So, when we get that time, we want to spend it like a family. So, now it is more pronounced.”
The couple were also asked: “Who is more likely to steal the dance floor?”
Anushka Sharma pointed at her husband.
A startled Virat Kohli asked: “Me?”
Anushka replied: “Steal the dance floor?”
Virat then recalled an old drinking incident. He said:
“I don’t drink anymore but back in the day, if I had two drinks after going to a party, then yes [most likely to steal the dance floor].
“Take over meaning to a point where people don’t want me there. I don’t care then, after two-three drinks.”
“Not anymore, back in the day yes.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka will be next seen in Chakda Xpress, which will be her first lead role since Zero in 2018.
Chakda Xpress is based on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
The actress has been spotted filming on the cricket field.
She completed filming in December 2022 and in a social media post, Anushka wrote:
“It’s a wrap on Chakda Xpress and thank you Jhulan Goswami for the final clap to bring an end to the shoot!”
