Amitabh Bachchan has delighted his fans with a throwback picture from the sets of the 1981 film Naseeb alongside Rishi Kapoor.

When Bollywood stars share throwback pictures there is a sense of nostalgia attached to them as they give us a glimpse into the past.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, 15 April 2020, Amitabh posted a black and white throwback picture.

In the still picture from the Manmohan Desai’s film Naseeb (1981), Amitabh is dressed as a matador while his co-star Rishi Kapoor is dressed as Charlie Chaplin.

During the making of the film, the actors were shooting for the song ‘Rang Jamaake’ (1981) in a revolving restaurant set.

Amitabh and Rishi are both seen looking into the horizon in their character avatars. He captioned it:

“… in the days of yore .. shooting for the song ‘rang jamaae..’ for film NASEEB for ManMohanDesai, the crazy genius .. on a revolving set restaurant built at Chandivili Studios .. Chintu (Rishi Kapoor) as Chaplin, moi as a matador .. song action scenes all on this set .. action on the restaurant on fire .. what times ..”

Upon seeing this picture, Amitabh Bachchan’s fans showered praise on the star.

Sona0906 said: “Love the movie…n luv u” followed by heart-eye emojis while tasllimsheikh70 said: “Amazing pic sir.”

Other fans showed their joy by commenting with several heart emojis.

Previously, Amitabh Bachchan shared another throwback picture on Instagram. This time of his first film magazine shoot.

In the picture, we can see Amitabh Bachchan from his younger days as he poses for the camera. He captioned it:

“My very first photo shoot for a film magazine after joining the industry in 1969 .. it was for the ‘Star & Style’ the only other prominent film mag, along with Filmfare at the time .. I was pushed and goaded into – a most reticent reluctant and very self conscious shy me – by the most famed and feared journalist of the times – Devayani Chaubal .. obviously there was no ‘star’ or ‘style’ in the project .. but Devyani thought so .. a strong minded lady, ever dressed in a shining white sari .. always!!”
