"Got my little boy his first birthday present"
Boxer Amir Khan has purchased a Rolex watch for his son’s first birthday.
Muhammad Zaviyar will be gifted the luxury watch on February 22, 2021, as his famous father is keen to start off his watch collection early.
Amir shared a video of the pricey gift on his Instagram Stories, however, he did not include the receipt.
The video showed the silver Rolex still in its case. Amir captioned it:
“Got my little boy his first birthday present, his watch collection needs to [be] on [point].”
This is not the first time Amir Khan has splashed out for his children.
In 2019, the former world champion and his wife Faryal Makhdoom threw a £75,000 birthday party to celebrate their daughter Alayna turning one.
It was a rainforest-themed party at the University of Bolton Stadium.
It was the same venue where the couple hosted their £150,000 engagement party and eldest daughter’s £100,000 second birthday celebration.
While Alayna actually turned one in April 2019, the party was held in early June ahead of the family’s move to London.
Faryal went all out by transforming the venue into an Amazonian-inspired rainforest, complete with statues of exotic animals, vibrant bushes and a glossy jungle-print dancefloor by designers Enchanted by Syma.
Guests were also treated to an impressive dance performance by women dressed in animal-style catsuits.
As well as the sparkling lights and greenery, the venue was also decorated with monkey toys which clung onto a mini rope.
On each dining table, branched ornamental light fixtures, dainty candles and floral centrepieces were featured.
Amir and his family made sure that they stood out in their coordinated black outfits.
While he is set to create a watch collection for Muhammad Zaviyar, Amir Khan has his own luxury collection of supercars.
He already owns a £271,000 Lamborghini Aventador, a £233,000 Rolls Royce Phantom and a £65,000 Range Rover.
Amir also told his followers that he was thinking of buying another Rolls-Royce worth £264,000.
In December 2020, Amir revealed he had purchased a holiday home in Dubai.
In a video as well as several photos, Amir was seen standing in front of the huge wooden door.
He also showed his followers the marble floors, modern stone staircase and extensive lounge-diner.
The outside is the most impressive as the swimming pool boasts stunning views of the Dubai landscape.
Meanwhile, Faryal has stated that she will not allow Muhammad Zaviyar to follow in his father’s footsteps.
During a fan Q&A on Instagram, she was asked: “Will your son be a boxer?”
To which she responded: “Never.”
