Alia Bhatt revisited her wedding a week after tying the knot with Ranbir Kapoor.
The couple is in different parts of the country right now for work.
While she is in Rajasthan to shoot for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Ranbir is in Himachal for the shoot of Animal.
On April 23, 2022, Alia shared pictures of herself from the wedding.
The first photo showed her with her pet cat Edward.
She looks dotingly at her adorable cat, who has his eyes on something behind the camera.
Alia is dressed in her wedding outfit, a white Sabyasachi saree and a lot of white and golden jewellery.
The second picture shows her henna-decorated hands and her enormous wedding ring.
A large hexagonal diamond sits on top of a diamond-encrusted band. The final picture shows her sitting down to pose for the camera.
The pictures got her love from Ranbir’s family.
His sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni wrote: “My most beautiful girl.”
His mother Neetu Kapoor shared love and heart emojis. Aditi Rao Hydari wrote: “So beautiful.”
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married at their home in Bandra on April 14, 2022.
The two had been dating for five years before that.
They fell for each other on the sets of their upcoming film Brahmastra.
Sharing the first photos from the wedding Alia wrote on Instagram: “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home… in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married.
“With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together.
“Memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites.
“Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives.
“It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia.”
Alia and Ranbir’s wedding was one of the most awaited weddings in Bollywood.
The couple and their families remained tight-lipped about the wedding details until the eleventh hour.
Neetu Kapoor confirmed the wedding date only after she attended the couple’s mehendi ceremony on April 13, 2022.
The wedding was a very private and intimate affair.
It was held at Ranbir’s house Vastu with only very few friends and family members in attendance.
The bride and groom had a lot of fun as they exchanged garlands, cut a cake and sealed their union with a kiss.
A picture of them having champagne in style was also loved by their fans.
As the newlyweds walked out of the venue to meet the paparazzi, Ranbir Kapoor lifted Alia Bhatt in his arms, leaving everyone in splits.
After the wedding, the couple returned straight to work without jetting off for a honeymoon.
