“There’s something so pure about this outfit"
Mahira Khan recently tied the knot with her entrepreneur partner Salim Karim.
She was applauded for her minimalistic makeup look and elegant jewellery.
For the wedding, Mahira wore a lehenga-choli, dupatta and long veil. The blouse had a wide square neckline, full-length sleeves, sequin embellishments and intricate kadhai work.
But who designed her stunning outfit?
Mahira opted for famous fashion designer Faraz Manan, who has designed outfits for the likes of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.
Faraz took to Instagram to share a photograph of Mahira wearing his piece and captioned the photo:
“Mahira Khan in Faraz Manan.”
He shared a closeup photograph of Mahira in her bridal attire looking very regal.
The post was met with many messages from fans who complimented Faraz on his work and Mahira for her effortless beauty.
One person said: “Uff, the bridal dress is stunning, I love the embroidery.”
Another fan commented: “There’s something so pure about this outfit, you’re the best Faraz.”
A third added: “She [Mahira] is beautiful Masha’Allah but you made her sparkle.”
Mahira Khan’s lehenga consisted of a heavily embellished skirt in a silvery ice-blue colour, paired with a long-sleeved blouse that sat just above her stomach.
Her hair was covered in a sophisticated dupatta which boasted a heavy border.
As she made her way to the aisle, Mahira was covered in a long veil which was lifted by Salim as she reached him.
Salim was visibly emotional as he watched his bride walk towards him before they exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony witnessed by close friends and family.
He also semi-matched Mahira’s outfit with a blue turban whilst his sherwani was a contrast in black.
Mahira’s young son matches his mother in a suit of the same colour, and the pair are seen holding hands as she makes her entrance.
Previously, Mahira was photographed in a Faraz Manan outfit when she modelled his couture collection.
Faraz had expressed his admiration for Mahira by saying:
