Virat Kohli is married to one of the leading film stars of India, Anushka Sharma. The couple was blessed with a baby girl earlier this year.

Kohli is currently leading the Indian cricket team in Ahmedabad. The team is preparing for the fourth and last final Test match against England.

Virat Kohli is an Indian skipper who holds the top rank in ICC’s ODI batting ranking.

He made his debut in August 2008 and has so far scored 12,040 runs in 251 ODI’s.

MS Dhoni earlier had a record of 21 Test wins and with Virat achieving the same, both now share the title.

In a recent documentary, ‘Capturing Cricket: Steve Waugh in India’, the former Australian captain call Kohli the ‘modern day hero’.

He claimed that Kohli is the man who changed the mindset of the whole team.

Waugh also says that Kohli made sure he motivated his team enough and made them believe that no hurdle was difficult to overcome.

Steve Waugh said:

“What they love about Kohli is that it is like the new attitude of India, get stuck in, don’t be intimidated.

“Take everything on and anything is achievable and possible.

“But he is like the modern-day hero.”

The documentary covers the constant love of the game in India and is available on Discovery+.

The net worth of Virat Kohli is $26 million (£18,673,850).
