"There is no third party involved."
Suraj Nambiar has broken his silence over rumours following his separation from actress Mouni Roy.
The businessman took to social media with a strongly worded statement denying all circulating claims.
He categorically dismissed reports of alimony disputes, third-party involvement and alleged conflict between the couple.
His response comes just days after Mouni Roy officially confirmed their separation on May 14, 2026.
Suraj called the stories spreading online completely fabricated and irresponsible.
He wrote: “Baseless reports surrounding our separation have been made in bad taste and are absolutely malicious.”
He went further, denying every allegation that had been circulating since the announcement.
“Let me set the record straight once and for all.
“There is no alimony. There are no disputes. There is no third party involved.”
Suraj was also keen to stress that the decision to separate was entirely mutual and respectful.
He described the split as something they had both arrived at with care and consideration.
“Mouni and I chose to part ways together, with mutual respect and with full consideration for each other’s well-being. That is the truth.”
He went on to say that everything being reported beyond this was fiction at best.
“Everything else being reported is fiction, and in some cases, a deliberate attempt to vilify two people who have done nothing but ask to be left alone.”
Suraj also expressed deep disappointment over friends and acquaintances being pulled into the growing speculation.
He urged both the media and the public to stop involving people who had no connection to any of this.
“Dragging other people into this is not cool. Specially innocent friends who have nothing to do with this.”
He further stated that both he and Mouni had carried themselves with dignity throughout this entire period.
“Media houses have chosen to fabricate narratives that do not exist.
“These reports have been published without a shred of verification, which is highly unfair.”
He made it clear he would not remain quiet while deliberate misinformation continued to spread online.
“I am calling this out clearly and directly, because staying silent in the face of deliberate misinformation is not something I am willing to do.”
Mouni Roy later reposted Suraj’s full statement on her Instagram story, signalling her complete agreement.
In their earlier joint statement, the couple had collectively addressed the media and firmly requested privacy. They said:
“We note with dismay the unnecessary and intrusive attention into our personal lives by certain quarters of the media.
“Attempts have been made to sensationalise our private lives by circulation of fictitious narratives and blatant falsehoods, which do not reflect the reality of our relationship.
“We have mutually chosen to move forward on separate paths with respect and understanding.
“We will endeavour to cherish our friendship in times to come.”
The former couple ended their statement with a clear request for privacy and dignity from all sides.
