"Arjun Rampal takes drugs to Shahrukh's house."
The ongoing Bollywood drugs case has seen another development as actors Shahrukh Khan, Arjun Rampal, Dino Morea and Ranbir Kapoor have reportedly been identified.
There had been speculation that three male actors with the initials ‘A’, ‘S’ and ‘R’ would be summoned by the NCB next after questioning Deepika Padukone.
However, an NCB official denied the rumours.
Now, one NCB official has allegedly told Dainik Bhaskar that three actors with the initials ‘A’, ‘D’ and ‘S’ are under the probe for drug abuse. The official identified them as Arjun Rampal, Dino Morea and Shahrukh Khan.
A fourth person with the initial ‘R’ is speculated to be Ranbir Kapoor, according to the report.
In the initial report, ‘A’, ‘S’ and ‘R’ had worked with Deepika in the past. Arjun, SRK and Ranbir have all co-starred with Deepika.
Since the investigation into the link between Bollywood and drugs began, this is the first time that top male actors have been named.
According to the NCB official, a drug peddler disclosed the names during questioning.
The drug peddler reportedly told the official that Arjun had been supplying drugs to Shahrukh. The official said the information is credible but is waiting for more evidence to come to light before taking action.
The official explained that Arjun would take the drugs to Shahrukh’s house.
“He (the drugs peddler) has told that Arjun Rampal takes drugs to Shahrukh’s house. The information is credible.”
Despite explaining an alleged drugs link between SRK and Arjun, it is not known who Dino is associated with. However, the official established that Dino supplied drugs to someone.
According to the report, two intelligence reports are being built up against SRK and the NCB are currently figuring out how to take things further.
Shahrukh is currently in Dubai for the IPL. He owns the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Arjun and Dino are both in Mumbai. Arjun is currently shooting a film there.
Ranbir is also speculated to be the fourth name, however, no information about him has been disclosed as of yet.
His name has been in the headlines for his alleged link to drugs, especially as he was present at Karan Johar’s party in 2019 where social media users claimed the actors were on drugs.
So far, Deepika, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh have been summoned by the NCB.
NCB officials questioned Deepika about her drug-related messages in a WhatsApp group with her manager Karishma Prakash, Rhea Chakraborty and her manager Jaya Saha.
Deepika had asked for ‘maal’ and ‘hash’ but the actress claimed that by ‘maal’ she meant cigarettes and ‘hash’ referred to a different brand of cigarettes.
