Simiran Kaur Dhadli teases Debut Album

Simiran Kaur Dhadli is undoubtedly one of the most talked-about Punjabi singers in recent times.

The female artist is rising to fame with the help of her strong lyrics and vocals as heard in ‘Reality Check’, ‘Puthi Matt’ and ‘Notaan Wali Dhauns’.

Simiran made her musical debut with ‘Marjaneya’ in 2019.

Her second single ‘Sahiba’ proved to be a hit and received a positive response from fans.

The Punjabi singer recently took to her Instagram Story to reveal some details about her upcoming and highly-anticipated debut album.

Simiran uploaded a selfie alongside a caption that read: “Album 2022 #GaddmiGayika.”

Since sharing the news, fans of the ‘Barood Wargi’ singer have shared their excitement on social media.

Many have also begun to speculate the name of the album.

Whilst Simiran included the hashtag #GaddmiGayika on her Instagram Story, it is unclear if it is the album’s name or the name of the lead track.

The singer is also yet to announce the album’s release date.

Alongside her debut album, Simiran’s fans also await the sequel to her popular song ‘Lahu Di Awaaz’.

‘Lahu Di Awaaz’ proved to be one of the most controversial songs from the Punjabi music industry in 2021.

Upon its release in September 2021, the song quickly gained attention and made its way to the top spot on the YouTube trending charts.

The song was met with a mix of criticism and praise.

Simiran used blurred images, Instagram Reels and TikTok videos of women wearing revealing clothes to address the rise of women who expose their bodies on social media.

Shortly after its release, the music video for ‘Lahu Di Awaaz’ was age-restricted on YouTube as it contained some adult-themed clips.

Despite its popularity, the viral song was removed from YouTube following a copyright strike from social media influencer Meeti Kalher.

Following the re-release of ‘Lahu Di Awaaz’ on September 28, 2021, Simiran teased fans and said that they should expect a part two to the song.

She had earlier announced that ‘Lahu Di Awaaz 2’ was in its writing stage however, it has been over a month since any updates regarding the song were shared.

Despite the delay, Simiran Kaur Dhadli has actively released new songs including ‘Will Shoot Ya’ and ‘Baatan Puadh Kiyan’, taking advantage of her growing fan base due to her controversial hit.
