Sidharth Shukla’s family have released their first statement after the television actor’s sudden and tragic death.

The family of Sidharth Shukla has released their first statement since the television actor’s tragic death.

In the statement, they thanked everyone for their love for the actor. The family asked people to respect their privacy and allow them to grieve.

The Shukla family also thanked the Mumbai Police for their support after Sidharth’s sudden death.

The statement read: “Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of Sidharth’s journey and showered him with unconditional love.

“It definitely doesn’t end here as he now resides in our hearts forever!

“Sidharth valued his privacy hence we request you to allow our family the privacy to grieve.

“A special thank you to the Mumbai Police force for their sensitivity and compassion.

“They have been like a shield, protecting us and standing by us every minute of the day!

“Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Om Shanti – The Shukla Family.”

The family have also organised a prayer meeting for Sidharth Shukla on September 6, 2021, at 5 pm.

Fans will also be allowed to be a part of the meditation virtually.

In the prayer meeting, Sister Shivani and the Brahma Kumaris will bless the late actor’s soul. BK Yogini Didi will conduct a meditation session.

Actor Karanvir Bohra shared the news on Instagram and wrote:

“Let’s all come together today at 5 pm for special prayers and blessings for our friend Sidharth Shukla organised by his mother and his sisters and Sister Shivani, the Brahma Kumaris.

“See you again on the other side bro.”

Sidharth Shukla passed away at the age of 40 after reportedly suffering a cardiac arrest. He is survived by his mother Rita Shukla and two sisters, Neetu and Preeti.

The Bigg Boss 13 winner’s death has left his fans, family and friends distraught.

On Bigg Boss OTT, host Karan Johar paid tribute to the popular actor.

Fighting back tears, Karan said:

“Sidharth Shukla is such a face, such a name, who has become an important part of our lives.

“He is a favourite member of the Bigg Boss family.

“He is not only mine but a friend of the uncountable people in the industry. He has left us all. This is something we are still finding hard to believe.

“I am numb, I can’t even breathe. Sid is a good son, a great friend, and an amazing guy to be around.”

“His positive vibe and that smile won so many… millions of hearts.

His millions of fans are proof that he was such a popular and lovable person.

“You shall be missed Sidharth Shukla. We will miss you.

“You and I, we all need great strength to carry on the show. Even Sid would have wanted this that the show must go on.”
