Shilpa Shetty Kundra is set to launch a brand new chat show called Shape of You.
The Bollywood actress, who is also a known fitness enthusiast, will interview a new guest every episode about their health journey.
Listeners of Filmy Mirchi Radio can expect to hear about both the mental and physical transformations of the celebrities invited on.
The 46-year-old is also a wellness influencer and regularly shares her diet and exercise regime with her 23.6 million followers on Instagram.
Shetty is a particular proponent of yoga, which she is known to have built into her daily workouts alongside celebrities such as Malaika Arora.
The Phir Milenge (2004) star also has her own app called the Simple Soulful App which provides yoga, exercise, immunity and diet programs.
She is known for her famous philosophy of ‘Swasth Raho, Mast Raho’ (Stay Healthy, Stay Happy) which is something she hopes to spread through it.
Speaking about fitness as well as her upcoming chat show, Shetty said:
“For me, working towards my fitness is no longer a job.
“I enjoy and firmly believe in the idea of aligning your body, soul, and mind to lead a happy life.
“Everyone has their own journey and discovery in the process.
“I am so glad to have a talk show where I can get a chance to understand someone else’s approach and get inspired.
“I am really looking forward to Shape of You.”
Making her acting debut back with Baazigar (1993), Shetty currently works primarily as a judge on various dance competition shows.
These include Zara Nachke Dikha (2010), Nach Baliye (2012–20) and Super Dancer which first began in 2016 and the fourth chapter of which finished in 2021.
However, she did step back from the limelight temporarily when her husband, Raj Kundra, was arrested for allegedly creating and distributing pornographic films.
Although the movie star has previously told police that she was not aware of the businessman’s illicit activities.
In terms of films, the actress was last seen in the rom-com Hungama 2 alongside Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jafri and Pranitha.
She is also set to appear in Sabir Khan’s upcoming movie, Nikamma, which will star Abhimanyu Dasani and Shirley Setia.
Recording for Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s new talk show, Shape of You, began on December 16, 2021, and will be aired in 30 cities across India.
