Shanaya Kapoor treated her Instagram followers to some gorgeous pictures of herself.
The up-and-coming Bollywood actress showed off her toned figure in an all-white ensemble.
In the pictures, Shanaya can be seen wearing a white bralette and tracksuit bottoms for an elegant lounge look.
She paired the casual outfit with a white jacket and dainty gold chains.
Her hair was styled in loose curls while she kept her makeup to a minimum.
The snaps look to have been taken at her home in Mumbai.
Shanaya captioned the post: “It’s been a minute.”
As soon as she posted the new set of pictures, the comments section was filled with words of praise.
Childhood friend Suhana Khan commented with several lovestruck emojis.
Khushi Kapoor posted: “Beauty.”
Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda was left in awe by the pictures, simply writing: “Oh.”
Shanaya’s mother Maheep Kapoor posted some heart emojis.
While Shanaya received a lot of love for her Instagram post, one comment that attracted a lot of attention came from her father Sanjay Kapoor.
His humorous comment read: “Can you give me those abs?”
Shanaya Kapoor is set to make her Bollywood debut, with filming expected to commence in July 2021.
The 21-year-old is set to be launched under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
Upon hearing the news, Shanaya expressed her happiness, writing:
“Woke up today with the most grateful heart!
“Here’s to a great journey ahead with the @dcatalent family. Excited to kickstart my FIRST FILM (ahhh!!) this July by @dharmamovies, can’t wait for you all to see what we’re up to! Stay tuned! #DCASquad.”
Shanaya previously worked as an assistant director in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, which starred her cousin Janhvi Kapoor.
Sanjay also opened up on his daughter’s upcoming debut.
He said: “She has been wanting to be an actress for a very, very long time.”
Sanjay has been in the industry for more than 25 years and has had ups and downs throughout his career.
He said that while he will always be there for his daughter, he believes that she should learn from her mistakes and experiences on her own.
On the advice he gave to Shanaya, Sanjay said;
“This line is such that you learn with your own experience, having said that, she knows I am gonna be right behind her.
“Honestly, I feel every individual should grow on their own and it’s better that, she learns from her own mistakes and experience.
“This way she will enjoy her journey much more rather than I hold her hand for everything.”
