Speaking about the song, Shahat said:

Born into a musical family in Chandigarh, Shahat Gill grew up surrounded by rhythm and melody:
“Music runs in my veins.”
Alongside her music career, she is pursuing a law degree.
But the path hasn’t been without challenges.
Shahat explained: “Many producers did not understand the type of music I wanted to make, the type of voice I wanted to raise.
“Some favoured bigger and better opportunities for the male singers. But I believe it’s a part of obstacles that make struggles a success one day.”
Shahat Gill is at the forefront of a new wave of Punjabi artists who are breaking rules and rewriting expectations. Her fusion of sound leans into a digital age that rewards innovation and authenticity.
