"He is the most shameless actor."
Shah Rukh Khan is one of Bollywood’s biggest stars. For over 30 years, he has been universally loved by Indian film fans.
However, that has not stopped SRK from hitting scandalous headlines.
An old interview of Shah Rukh with his wife Gauri Khan resurfaced on social media. The interview was with Simi Garewal.
Gauri was pregnant with the couple’s eldest child Aryan Khan at the time.
Shah Rukh appeared to reveal his hopes for his son.
He said: “He can run after girls and he can smoke as much as he wants.
“He can do drugs, he can have sex, he can womanise and he should enjoy everything.
“I’ve told all my heroines that they will have daughters and my son will be running after them.
“Every day, I want complaints from all of them and them saying, ‘Please keep your son out of our houses and the lives of our daughters’.
“I want him to spoil the whole city and all the girls. He should be a playboy.”
In the same post, Shah Rukh Khan’s remarks were compared to a comment he made on Koffee With Karan in 2016.
Karan Johar asked the star: “Would you kill the person who kissed your daughter?”
SRK replied: “I’d rip his lips off!”

The comments of Shah Rukh may have been made in jest but netizens still criticised the actor.
One user commented: “Biggest PR fraud in history.”
Another added: “He was so lucky that there was no social media in the 1990s. PR fraud.”
A third user said: “He is the most shameless actor.”
This is not the first time that SRK has attracted controversy for previous remarks.
In August 2024, a video resurfaced showing his appearance on Up Close and Personal With PZ.
During the interview, SRK told the host and his frequent co-star Preity Zinta that he could “make [her] pregnant”.
Users reacted furiously at this awkward exchange.
One person said: “Women have made this CREEP the most famous actor in the country and then wonder why we are here today.”
Another wrote: “Disgusting! Can’t believe he actually said that.”
However, some people defended Shah Rukh with one saying: “Friends can joke with each other and they’re like the closest ones.
“Find some male company.”
On the work front, SRK was last seen in Dunki (2023). He will next be seen in King.
The star will also return to voice Mufasa in the Hindi dub of Disney’s upcoming live-action film Mufasa: The Lion King.
Shah Rukh Khan voiced the character in the Hindi version of The Lion King in 2019.
Aryan, who voiced Simba, will also return as the character in the upcoming movie.
SRK’s youngest son AbRam will provide the voice for the young version of Mufasa.
Commenting on this, Shah Rukh Khan stated:
“Mufasa has an incredible legacy and stands as the ultimate king of the jungle, imparting his wisdom to his son, Simba.
“I deeply relate to him as a father and also resonate with Mufasa’s journey in the film.”
“Mufasa: The Lion King depicts Mufasa’s life from childhood to his rise as an incredible king and revisiting this character has been exceptional.
“It’s a special collaboration for me with Disney, particularly because my sons, Aryan and AbRam, are part of this journey and sharing this experience with them is truly meaningful.”
Mufasa: The Lion King is scheduled to be released worldwide on December 20, 2024.
