a major action sequence will see Shah Rukh Khan at the top
Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan will be shooting an action scene sequence at Dubai’s Burj Khalifa for his upcoming film.
The actor has recently been shooting in Mumbai for his new action film Pathan. Now, Dubai is the next filming location for Khan and his cast.
Shooting for Pathan began in November 2020, and is expected to be completed in 2021.
Pathan is being directed by Siddharth Anand. The action film will also feature Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
SRK, Anand and members of the crew are using the Burj Khalifa as a backdrop for some of the major fight scenes in Pathan.
The world’s tallest building was also used by Tom Cruise for his role in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.
Now, a major action sequence will see Shah Rukh Khan at the top of it.
As a result, Pathan will be one of the first few Indian films to have actual visuals from inside Burj Khalifa.
Shah Rukh Khan & Burj Khalifa
This is not the first time Shah Rukh Khan has been associated with Dubai’s Burj Khalifa.
Khan recently posted a picture on his Instagram account in front of the world’s tallest tower. The building honoured the star’s birthday, displaying the words: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAH”.

The caption read: “It’s nice to see myself on the biggest and tallest screen in the world.

On Pathan‘s fight scenes in Dubai, a source close to the development said:
“A big scale action sequence centred around Burj Khalifa is in the offing from the team of Pathan.”
“It’s a prolonged action sequence designed by an international stunt team, and one can expect spectacular visuals on the screen.
“It’s a culmination of Siddharth Anand, Aditya Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan’s vision, to shoot a massive action scene at Burj Khalifa.”
The source added: “Don’t be surprised if you find SRK fighting on the top of the tower just like Tom Cruise.”
Pathan marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen after a two-year gap.
The Bollywood actor last featured in the 2018 film Zero, alongside Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
