Shah Rukh Khan teased his fans on March 15, 2022, by announcing his new venture in the OTT world.
Taking to Twitter, Shah Rukh shared a picture featuring himself with “SRK+ coming soon” written next to it.
In the photo, Shah Rukh flashed a thumbs-up sign as he sported a white T-shirt, denim jacket, and dark glasses.
He captioned the post: “Kuch kuch hone wala hai, OTT ki duniya mein (Something is going to happen in the world of OTT).”
Within a few minutes, Salman Khan retweeted the picture and wrote:
“Aaj ki party teri taraf se (Today’s party is from you) @iamsrk.
“Congrats on your new OTT app, SRK+.”
Reacting to the post, fans thanked Salman for revealing details about the app.
A fan tweeted: “Thank you Salman for clearing what it is.”
Another added: “Suspense spilt within seconds. Salman revealed the scheme.”
A third commented: “Suspense has been cleared, finally it’s his OTT platform.”
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap revealed that he will be collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan on his app.
He tweeted: “Dream come true! Collaborating with @iamsrk on his new OTT app, SRK+.”
Karan Johar wrote on Twitter: “Biggest news of the year!
“@iamsrk, this is going to change the face of OTT. Super excited!!!”

Shah Rukh had ventured into the digital streaming space as a producer with Bard of Blood and Betaal, both series streaming on Netflix.
The projects were backed by his production house.
Shah Rukh will be next seen in Pathaan, gearing up for a January 25, 2023 release.
On March 2, 2022, Shah Rukh Khan unveiled a teaser trailer for his comeback film.
In the teaser, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham talk about the mysterious titular character Sikandar Pathaan.
The one-minute clip suggests that it will be a patriotic film and that Pathaan puts India first, which he calls “his religion”.
The video provides the first looks of Deepika and John in the film.
Both speak about Pathaan, saying he is nameless and his one goal in life is to protect India at any cost.
Shah Rukh then emerges out of the shadows and viewers see a glimpse of his character as he sports long hair.
He also speaks about his love for India.
It is believed that Pathaan will take place in Yash Raj Films’ shared ‘spy universe’.
The shared universe also includes Salman Khan’s Tiger franchise and Hrithik Roshan’s War.
Salman is believed to make a cameo in Pathaan while Shah Rukh Khan will briefly appear in Tiger 3.
