"We apologise for the inconvenience."

The legendary German rock band Scorpions has officially cancelled their highly anticipated upcoming concert tour across several Indian cities.

Organisers cited unforeseen medical circumstances affecting the band members as the primary reason for this very sudden tour cancellation.

Fans across the entire country are expressing deep disappointment over the news, which broke through an official social media announcement.

The Coming Home tour was scheduled to visit major locations, including Shillong, Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai in April 2026.

This musical event was produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live for the legendary rock group from the city of Hanover.

BookMyShow Live shared a detailed note on Instagram to inform the public about the cancellation of all four shows.

“We regret to inform you that the Scorpions Coming Home India Tour scheduled in Shillong on April 21st, Delhi NCR on April 24th, Bengaluru on April 26th and Mumbai on April 30th, stands cancelled due to unforeseen medical circumstances affecting the band members.”

The organisers also promised that all tickets purchased through their platform will be automatically refunded within ten working days.

“We apologise for the inconvenience and disappointment caused to fans.

“The band are very keen to perform in India when possible and within their schedule.”

The band has not performed in India since their last tour in December 2007.

During that previous visit for the Humanity World Tour, they played for massive crowds in Shillong, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Even earlier, they toured the country in August 2001 as part of their famous Acoustica Live Tour series.

Guitarist Matthias Jabs had previously spoken to the press about how excited the band was to return to the region.

“We have great memories from playing in India almost 20 years ago.”

“We played in Shillong, Mumbai, and we’re going to play again in those cities this time around.

“The audience is fantastic, it’s a rock audience and we have best memories.

“And now, since it’s such a long time ago, we expect to play to a new generation also because it’s almost 20 years ago, and it’s time for us to come back now.”

There is currently no new information regarding when the band might be able to reschedule these concert dates.

The health of the musicians remains the top priority for both the tour promoters and the loyal fan base worldwide.

Fans who were looking forward to hearing tracks like ‘Still Loving You’ will now have to wait for future updates.
