"He was a close family person"
The second-weekend episode of Kangana Ranaut’s Lock Upp saw Saisha Shinde make a big revelation about her childhood.
Tehseen Poonawalla became the second contestant to be evicted from the Lock Upp jail but was presented with an opportunity to save one out of the nominated inmates in exchange for his secret.
He agreed to reveal his secret and saved Saisha Shinde, who also had to disclose hers with Tehseen.
Opening up about a horrifying incident of her life, Saisha revealed that she was molested by a close family member at the age of 10.
Though she refrained from stating a name, Saisha shared that the person was only a few years elder than her.
She further added that this confused her if she could call it ‘molestation’ for a few years until she learnt more and gained clarity on it.
In the episode, Saisha said: “I was molested at the age of 10 by someone from my family.
“He was a close family person, he was only a few years older than me.”
After listening to this, Kangana Ranaut asked whether Saisha tried to confront the person or wants to confront him now.
In response to this, she said: “I didn’t confront him, I thought I must have given him hints that he thought to do it.
“Obviously when he hears this, he will have found out.”
Saisha further asserted that she would like that person to know that Saisha and Swapnil (her name before sex reassignment) are two different personalities.
She added that “Saisha has no qualms in speaking up when it comes to such matters” and conveyed that she won’t withhold herself.
However, she added that she has decided to not reveal the name because it is a personal and close family matter.
This is not the first time that Saisha has shared glimpses from her personal life.
In an earlier episode of Lock Upp, she also disclosed that she was mentally abused by an ex-boyfriend.
Lock Upp started streaming live on MX Player and ALTBalaji on February 27, 2022.
