Growing up in a Punjabi household, SAGA says music was “always around”, shaping a dream to share his sound with the world.

The artist explains: “My vision was always to create a sound that feels authentic to me while still representing my roots.
“With ‘Falling’, I wanted listeners to hear something fresh – something where if you play the song, people can instantly recognise it as my sound.”

“I didn’t want to recreate what Punjabi music already sounds like – I wanted to create something that feels like its own lane.”

“Artists like Bad Bunny have completely changed the way people experience international sounds, and that movement really inspired me.”
SAGA reworked the production to allow Latin-inspired rhythms to complement Punjabi lyrics and melodies naturally.
He says:
“The goal was to create something that still feels authentically Punjabi but carries a global sound.”
“By combining Punjabi storytelling with Latin-influenced production, I wanted to create something that could resonate with listeners worldwide, regardless of language or background.”

“You never plan when you’ll find the right person – when it happens, you just fall into the moment.”

“Because this was the first time I was introducing this sound to listeners, I wanted to see whether people would connect with it and whether it would make sense within Punjabi music.”

He says: “That response has given me a lot of confidence moving forward, and because of that we’re now building momentum with a plan to release music consistently and continue evolving this sound.”

He says: “Seeing Punjabi artists break into the global scene made me realise there’s space to push the sound even further.”

“Falling introduces listeners to the lane I want to create for myself as an artist.
“I want people to understand that the music I release will always aim to push boundaries and bring something different.
“This song is just the beginning of that journey, and the music that follows will continue to build on this global fusion sound.”
