"I will be able to achieve more than I have set"
It has been announced that Rubina Dilaik will participate in the 12th season of Khatron Ke Khiladi.
In addition to the Bigg Boss 14 winner being announced as the first contestant, Rohit Shetty will return to host the adventure reality show.
The show will return to Cape Town.
Rubina confirmed the news and is excited to be a part of the show.
She said: “I have endured many obstacles in life that have made me stronger, and I am very motivated and excited to be on Khatron Ke Khiladi.
“I am confident that with Rohit Shetty sir’s guidance, I will be able to achieve more than I have set for myself.
“Much love to all my fans and I want them to support me in this new endeavour.”
Rubina gained fame on Bigg Boss 14 and went on to win the reality show. After her win, she appeared in a few music videos.
She is also known for her work in the TV show Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.
Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 is reportedly at the pre-production stage.
While Rubina Dilaik is the first confirmed contestant, it has been reported that the makers will have a mix of celebrities, who will take on high-octane stunts.
It is rumoured that Rakhi Sawant and Lock Upp contestant Munawar Faruqui will be on the show.
It is also believed that Bigg Boss OTT contestants Pratik Sehajpal, Rajiv Adatia and Nishant Bhat will reunite on Khatron Ke Khiladi 12.
TV actors Sriti Jha, Shivangi Joshi and Erica Fernandes are other names that are rumoured to be seen on the show.
Pavitra Punia is also likely to participate.
Filming for the show is said to begin in the last week of May. Contestants will fly to South Africa for the shoot.
Arjun Bijlani won the previous season of Khatron Ke Khiladi and it saw Nikki Tamboli, Abhinav Shukla, Aastha Gill, Sourabh Raaj Jain, Anushka Sen, Mahekk Chahal, Sana Makbul and Rahul Vaidya as participants.
Shweta Tiwari, Varun Sood, Divyanka and Vishal Aditya Singh emerged as the other top finalists on the show.
