Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film is the fifth instalment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.
Along with Rashmika Mandanna as Tadaka, the movie also stars Ayushmann Khurrana.
Suniel Shetty, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal will also appear in Thamma.
On September 28, 2025, Rashmika took to her Instagram profile to release the teaser of a dance song from the film.
The number is titled ‘Tum Mere Na Huye’ and features the actress in a sexy look.
The short clip showed Rashmika in bold, red, two-piece attire.
She gyrated her body and was unafraid to show her physique, which adorned the visuals of the song.
Her wavy, black hair and the serious grin on her face strengthened the sensuality of the number, which is sure to dazzle and enchant fans.
The teaser of ‘Tum Mere Na Huye’ attracted positive reactions from viewers.
One fan commented: “You’re looking top class!”
Another said: “This track is pure magic on repeat.”

According to Rashmika, this song is an ode to “every girl’s voice of love and heartbreak.”

However, the boldness depicted in the routine also received criticism.
One person wrote: “I am a Rashmika fan, but I don’t like this type of Rashmika.
“I don’t like [her] dress sense.”
Similarly, Rashmika’s dance moves in Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024) were also called out for their alleged vulgarity.
A fan from Bengaluru said: “Rashmika’s dances in Pushpa were vulgar.”
The actress flaunted her sensuality particularly in ‘Peelings‘.
The song featured her alongside Allu Arjun (Molleti Pushpa Raj).
Addressing the controversy, Rashmika Mandanna had said:
“I have a phobia of being lifted, and here is the song where I am only being lifted.
“I wasn’t very comfortable initially. Once you trust the man, it becomes fun.”
“If I did doubt myself, it would be impossible to be an actor.
“I know I am here to entertain and please my director.
“This is my bread and butter.
“If I start overthinking, I’ll typecast myself, and I don’t want that.”
The full version of ‘Tum Mere Na Huye’ will be released on September 29, 2025.
Meanwhile, Thamma is scheduled to hit cinemas on October 21, 2025.
