Raj Kundra says Ex-Wife had Affair with his Sister’s Husband

Businessman Raj Kundra has revealed that his ex-wife Kavita had an affair with his sister’s husband, resulting in the end of their marriage.

He broke his silence after an old interview began circulating.

In the interview, Kavita blamed actress Shilpa Shetty for their divorce.

Raj denied the allegations and revealed the real reason for their divorce.

He said that Kavita was having an affair with his then-brother-in-law when they were living in London.

Raj went on to say that she was paid “thousands of pounds” for the interviews against Shilpa and that he has not been able to meet his daughter, who was just 40 days old at the time of their separation.

He explained: “We were living in one house with my mum, dad and my sister and her husband had moved over from India to try and settle in the UK.

“She grew very close to my ex-brother-in-law spending more and more time with him especially when I was out on business trips.

“Many of my family and even my driver would say we sense something fishy between these two and I would never believe it.

“I gave my ex-wife the benefit of doubt.”

He said that his sister and her husband later moved to India but later realised that Kavita was still speaking to his brother-in-law.

Raj Kundra said he discovered a second phone that she hid in the bathrooms and found their message exchanges.

He continued: “I recall how heartbroken I was and how I cried and cried thinking about what I had done to deserve this.

“I called and told my pregnant sister the phone number was Kavita’s second secret phone and that I was going to drop her at her house and that was the end for me she could decide what she wanted to do.”

While his sister decided to give her relationship another chance, Raj separated from Kavita.

He said that while her “demands were less knowing her faults” during the divorce, she later increased them after getting to know that Raj was dating Shilpa.

Raj Kundra explained that he no longer speaks to his ex-wife.

Because his sister was also involved, he did not reveal details of Kavita’s affair to the media when she first gave the interview.

Following his revelation, Raj revealed that it left Shilpa upset.

“Shilpa didn’t want me to speak when I sent her the old articles going viral again.

“The timing of these articles, days after her birthday going viral again, upset me. Enough was enough.”

“Shilpa is upset I spoke my heart out, but the truth had to come out.”

But he also spoke about the positives after sharing his side of the story.

“You can’t retaliate against the truth especially when there are many families involved.

“I feel so much lighter to be able to speak the truth about what really happened after so many years!

“My mother caught my ex-wife and sister’s husband red-handed, in compromising situations many times.

“Two families were spoiled here; they didn’t think twice.”
