"We are standing with pure confidence."
The penultimate episode of The Apprentice 2026 was certainly filled with drama and emotion.
On Thursday, April 9, the Final Five faced Lord Alan Sugar’s advisors for daunting interviews regarding their business plans.
Out of these contestants, Lawrence Rosenburg was fired from the show.
Indian candidates Priyesh Bathia and Dan Miller were also eliminated. Priyesh was fired for not having a suitable business.
Lord Sugar advised him to keep up his day job instead.
Meanwhile, Dan was let go over concerns about his extortionate spending habits and questions about his numbers.
Dan also had to make the crucial decision about whether to merge his two existing businesses into one for investment.
This resulted in Indian contestants Karishma Vijay and Pascha Myhill becoming the finalists of The Apprentice.
Speaking about his time in The Apprentice, Dan said: “My interviews went so well, and it was a fantastic validation for me to know the business I have built up over the years is really good.
“I made the right decision for myself and my business in that moment, and I’m really happy Karishma and Pascha are the two finalists.
“I’m just me, and what you saw is how I am.”
Priyesh commented: “I’m incredibly proud of how far I got.
“It’s a huge milestone and a massive achievement for me, and something I’ll always look back on with pride.
“I’ve learned a huge amount about business, about resilience and about myself, and I’ll take that forward.
“I’m leaving with my head held high and a lot of momentum for whatever comes next.”
Gushing about Karishma, Priyesh continued: “She has just been amazing throughout the process with all her creative ideas and business acumen.
Karishma is a 28-year-old beauty brand owner.
The youngest candidate in the 2026 series, 22-year-old Pascha Myhill is a healthcare recruitment consultant.
On Instagram, Pascha wrote:
“22 and 28… young, fearless.”
“And we are standing with pure confidence and dominance.”
“We won’t let anyone take that away from us, what we have done to get here.”
In the interviews, Karishma was praised for her determination – something that brought interviewer Claudine Collins to tears.
Meanwhile, although she was criticised for her lack of experience and her short business plan, Pascha impressed all with her confidence and knowledge.
The Apprentice concludes on Thursday, April 16, 2026, on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, at 9 pm.
They will launch their businesses with assistance from eliminated candidates.
At the end, only one of them will become Lord Sugar’s next business partner.
