Pakistani Wife Raped by Seven Men during House Burglary

An unnamed Pakistani woman from Rawalpindi was raped by seven men who later stole valuables from her home. Police have arrested two of the seven men.

A Pakistani woman from Rawalpindi was subjected to a serious and horrific sexual assault by seven men on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.

The incident happened when the suspects broke into the unnamed victim’s house. After committing the rape, the men stole a number of valuables from the woman’s home.

According to a complaint registered at Rawat police station, the woman was alone at her home at the time of the incident. Her husband had left for his native village in Kasur.

The seven men were disguised as security guards when they forced their way into the house.

The men had locked the gate from the inside and snatched the woman’s mobile phone from her.

They then proceeded to trap the victim in her own bedroom. The men sadistically took turns to rape the woman, one after another.

After raping the woman, they stole gold jewellery, two LED TV sets and Rs. 177,000 (£980) in cash.

Before leaving the house, they warned the woman that there would be consequences if she spoke to anyone about the incident.

The terrified victim later left her home as a result of the incident. She said it was down to security concerns.

A case was lodged against the suspects after the woman reported the incident to the police. SHO Rawat Inspector Ijaz Qureshi said that two of the seven suspects have been identified.

Sulaiman Fayyaz and Noman Khan were arrested and taken into police custody.

The other five men are currently on the run, with the police carrying out raids to potentially arrest them. The men are only named as Taimor alias Sunny, Waqas alias Cheeku, Yasir Pathan, Atif and Zeesham alias Mani.

SHO Qureshi said:

“Further raids were being carried out to arrest the rest after launching an investigation into the incident.”

In another incident which occurred in Pakistan, another woman was subjected to sexual assault in the airport jurisdiction.

According to police, the woman worked as an instructor at a sewing centre in Gangal village.

The woman lodged a complaint against Adnan Murtaza who allegedly raped the woman under the orders of Jahangir Khokar and Rizwan Kholar.

Police filed an FIR and an investigation was underway.

SHO Airport Inspector Israr Satti stated that raids were being carried out with the intention of arresting the two men.

However, Murtaza, Khokar and Kholar had disappeared from the area. The three men are believed to be absconding.
