A social media influencer was reportedly killed in a tragic murder suicide in Islamabad.
The TikToker was murdered within the limits of Humak Police Station near a very large shopping mall.
Investigations showed that the suspect shot the female victim before shooting himself in the head.
Police identified the victim as Sana Javed, who had a TikTok account called OutLofara and lived in Attock.
The suspect was Muhammad Sadiq, who was also a resident of Attock and served as a police constable.
Sadiq had been dismissed from his position at the Attock Police Department before the violent incident.
The suspect initially shot his wife and then committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.
Three shells of fired bullets and a 9 mm pistol were recovered from the site by the police.
According to the First Information Report, a private security guard reported the incident to the police.
The guard was performing his duties in a market located in DHA Phase Two during the holiday.
“He heard gunshots from the parking area and saw a woman wearing a red dress lying on the ground.”
The guard said a man around 24-25 years old was present with a pistol in his hand.
This man then proceeded to shoot himself in the head after attacking the young woman in the parking.
The security guard informed his superiors, who then informed the local police about the deadly shooting event.
This tragedy happened on the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Police said Sana had previously been married to another man, Shafiq Ahmed, from whom she had obtained a divorce. Sadiq was her second husband.
Investigators reported that the couple frequently argued and that the incident arose out of domestic disputes.
The incident took place near Lingnam Tower within the jurisdiction of H-11 police station.
A case has been registered at H-11 police station, and further investigation is underway.
