"Get out of here. You don't know who you're messing with."
Pakistani singer Jawad Ahmad has landed in legal hot water following allegations of power theft at his wife’s beauty salon in Lahore.
The incident unfolded during a routine inspection by Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) officials at the salon in Johar Town.
According to LESCO, the inspection team discovered that the electricity meter had been tampered with.
One of its phases was deliberately disabled to lower electricity consumption—a common technique used to evade charges.
LESCO authorities claim that as the team was addressing the issue, Jawad arrived at the scene with three unidentified men.
Tensions escalated quickly, with the singer and his accomplices allegedly confronting the officials aggressively.
Reports claim that Jawad forcibly seized the tampered meter and handed it to one of his men, identified as Adeel.
Adeel then proceeded to disappear with it into the salon.
The situation reportedly turned violent, with two LESCO employees sustaining injuries during the altercation.
These employees were subsequently transported to a hospital for medical attention.
Furthermore, the singer is accused of attempting to use his vehicle to run over the officials.
A viral video appears to show Jawad pushing the LESCO team members and yelling:
“Get out of here. You don’t know who you’re messing with.”

LESCO lodged a formal complaint with Nawab Town Police Station, and a case has been registered against Jawad Ahmad and his accomplices.
They are being charged with power theft, assault, and obstructing official duties.
The authorities have also submitted a detailed report on the tampered meter to higher officials for further investigation.
LESCO officials allege that when the incident escalated, police initially failed to act decisively.
The officials claim they were pressured to settle the matter on the spot rather than proceed with legal action.
The controversy has shocked the public, particularly given Jawad’s reputation as a celebrated artist with multiple hit songs to his name.
A user wrote:
“Bro got us hooked on patriotic songs and then proceeded to do this himself.”
Another said: “What the heck? Shameless!”
Despite the public uproar and growing scrutiny, Jawad Ahmad has yet to issue a statement addressing the allegations.
The case has raised questions about accountability and the use of influence in circumventing legal proceedings.
As the investigation continues, many await further developments to determine the facts.
Ironically, this comes after Jawad Ahmed proclaimed himself the “Last hope of Pakistan”.
He is also leading an independent political party and its motto is to serve the common man.
