Nayanthara couldn’t resist sharing a thankful note to her fans for showering a great response to her latest film ‘Connect’.

Nayanthara, who was last seen in Connect, penned a thank you note and extended her gratitude for the responses she received for the film.

Kayal Devaraj shared Nayanthara’s press release on his social media page and it went viral among her fans and followers.

The actor wrote: “It’s been an eventful year for me and I’m filled with gratitude.

“Thank you to all film lovers and fans who have watched and supported our Connect.

“And my gratitude to those who continue doing so, booking your tickers and enjoying show after show.”

She also extended her thanks to the director of Connect, Ashwin Saravanan and his team for believing in her.

Calling his filmmaking “world-class”, the Maya actor said:

“It’s a genre-specific film and we have strived to do justice to you, the audience and the genre.”

She further added: “Our entire team has worked with utmost conviction and sincerity with this vision in mind.”

Connect is backed by Rowdy Pictures with Vignesh Shivan as the producer.

Nayanthara also thanked him for distributing and releasing the film.

The film is a horror thriller that is set during the Covid-19 lockdown.

It also features Anupam Kher, Sathyaraj, and Vinay Rai, among others.

On the work front, Nayanthara will star opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan. The film is directed by Atlee.

Nayanthara was part of several versatile roles in 2022.

She was seen as the fun-loving Kanmani in the rom-com Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, a caring mother Parvathy in the survival thriller O2, and a grief-stricken mother in the horror Connect.

Meanwhile, recently, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan shared an Instagram Reel with his wife Nayanthara and gave a glimpse of their first Christmas after becoming parents.

This is also their first Christmas after getting married.

Taking to Instagram on December 25, 2022, Vignesh posted a photo with his family.

In the picture, he sat on a couch as he held his son in his arm.

Nayanthara sat on the floor near him as she held their other son close to her.

He captioned the post: “Uyir, Ulagam, Nayan, Wikki & family wish you a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. With love in abundance!

“And honest prayers To God to give everyone all the happiness and blessings to live a life that u have always dreamt about! Godbless.”

He also added Santa Claus, a smiling, flower bouquet, and red heart emojis.
