Mowgli Street Food has announced its first-ever move into delivery through an exclusive national partnership with Uber Eats.

The deal marks a major step for the award-winning restaurant brand, known for its vibrant Indian home cooking.

For the first time, signature dishes such as Gunpowder Chicken, Angry Bird and Tamarind Treacle Fries, alongside house favourites like Mother Butter Chicken and Temple Dahl, will be delivered across the UK.

Founded in Liverpool in 2014 by barrister-turned-restaurateur Nisha Katona, Mowgli has grown into a national chain with 27 restaurants.

The brand has built its reputation on serving the food Indians eat at home and on the streets, bringing bold, flavour-packed dishes to diners.

Until now, those dishes were only available inside Mowgli’s restaurants. The partnership with Uber Eats means the brand’s reach will extend far beyond its physical sites.

CEO Lucy Worth said: “Mowgli is about more than just food; it’s about togetherness, generosity, and the joy of sharing dishes that feel alive with flavour and soul.

“For years, our guests have asked when Mowgli would be available for delivery.

“Thanks to our exclusive partnership with Uber Eats, we can finally bring that experience home.

“I am so proud that our guests across the UK will now be able to enjoy Mowgli wherever they are.”

Uber Eats said the move highlighted its commitment to partnering with the UK’s most loved restaurants.

Serving more than 90% of the UK population, the platform said it was uniquely placed to support Mowgli’s expansion.

Matthew Price, Regional General Manager of UKI and Northern Europe at Uber Eats, said:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Mowgli exclusively to Uber Eats.

“This much-loved national brand underscores our momentum, and we’re focused on helping them grow their business and reach new customers.

“At the same time, consumers continue to turn to us for the unrivalled selection, real value and reliability we offer.

“As the UK’s leading and fastest-growing delivery platform, we’re proud to be the first choice for restaurants and customers alike.”

Mowgli is now available exclusively on Uber Eats in cities including Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Oxford and Sheffield.

Smaller towns such as Beverley, Bridgend, Cheltenham, Knutsford and Bury St Edmunds are also included in the rollout.

Mowgli’s expansion is not only about food but also about values.

The brand’s charitable arm, The Mowgli Trust, has donated more than £2.6 million to local and global causes.

The company has also featured on The Sunday Times’ ‘Best Places to Work’ list for three consecutive years.

This partnership with Uber Eats marks the latest stage of Mowgli’s vision: extraordinary food, cooked with heart and soul, now made available to more people across the UK.
