Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Rizwan has captured the attention of fans after a recent incident during the team’s practice session.

While preparing for the upcoming three-match ODI series against New Zealand, Rizwan unintentionally broke fast-bowler Naseem Shah’s mobile phone.

The accident occurred at the LCCA Ground, where the national squad has been training for the series.

Rizwan, while practising his batting, played a lofted shot that accidentally flew toward the dressing room.

Unfortunately, Naseem’s phone, which had been left on a chair in the area, was struck by the ball.

Upon realising the damage, Naseem Shah rushed over to inspect his device.

His reaction clearly showed that the phone had been severely damaged.

A video of the moment soon went viral, showing Naseem’s disappointment.

In the footage, Naseem could be seen showing the broken device to Mohammad, who immediately promised to make things right.

Despite the mishap, Mohammad Rizwan was quick to assure Naseem that he would replace the broken phone.

He explained that his own phone was available and would be given to Naseem.

The broken device had also contained Naseem Shah’s flight ticket.

True to his word, Mohammad Rizwan later handed over his own phone to Naseem as a replacement.

This heartwarming act was also captured on camera and shared across social media platforms.

Fans expressed their admiration for Mohammad Rizwan’s generosity, especially in such an unexpected situation.

Naseem Shah appeared grateful and the video quickly went viral, drawing positive reactions from fans of the Pakistani cricket team.

On March 23, 2025, the Pakistani ODI squad departed for New Zealand.

The much-anticipated series is scheduled to begin on March 29.

The ODI series will run until April 5 and fans are eager to see how Mohammad and Naseem perform together.

Pakistan previously delivered an impressive performance against New Zealand in the third T20I at Eden Park.

They chased down a challenging target of 205 in just 16 overs.

This thrilling chase saw Pakistan overpower New Zealand with a nine-wicket victory.

However, in the fourth T20I at Mount Maunganui, New Zealand set a formidable total of 220/6 in their allotted 20 overs.

Pakistan struggled to contain New Zealand’s aggressive batting, despite several reviews and a few breakthroughs throughout the innings.

New Zealand currently leads the five-match T20 series against Pakistan.
