"I don't know who Urvashi is."
Pakistani cricketer Naseem Shah had a hilarious reaction when asked about Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela.
Things between the pair started after Pakistan defeated India in the Asia Cup.
Urvashi had been in the stadium watching the match and afterwards, she posted an edited video featuring alternating shots of her blushing and Naseem smiling.
Meanwhile, Atif Aslam’s ‘Koi Tujhko Na Mujhse Chura Le’ played in the background of the video.
This led to some people trolling the actress.
One Pakistani fan told Urvashi to stay away from “our kid”.
Another person posted several pictures of an older girl running after a young boy to depict the situation. Urvashi is 28 years old while Naseem is aged 19.
Some believed the pair were in a relationship.
Naseem has now reacted to the matter and despite the speculation, the cricketer does not seem to be aware of the actress.
When asked about the video, Naseem said he did not know “who Urvashi was”.

He said: “I am smiling at your question. I don’t know who Urvashi is. I only focus on my match.
Naseem went on to say that people are always sending him edited videos.
He added: “I am thankful to the people for arriving at the stadium and watching the match.”
However, he did not speak about the trolling Urvashi has been subjected to.
Naseem Shah has been a standout for Pakistan in the Asia Cup.
He won the match against Afghanistan, hitting two sixes in a row in the final over to send Pakistan into the final.
Meanwhile, Urvashi Rautela spoke about the video, stating it was nothing but “fan-made cute edits”.
She explained: “A couple of days back, my team shared all fan-made cute edits (around 11-12) without any knowledge of other people involved in it.”
Urvashi also told the media to refrain from creating speculative news.
Previously, Urvashi Rautela was linked to Rishabh Pant.
This came after she claimed that a person she named ‘RP’ waited for her for 10 hours in a hotel lobby while she was getting some sleep.
Afterwards, Rishabh Pant posted an Instagram Story, and later deleted it, writing:
“It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meagre popularity and for hitting the headlines.
“Sad how some people are thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them.”
