The watch incorporates around 397 gemstones
A new luxury watch inspired by the animal rescue and rehabilitation centre owned by Anant Ambani has been unveiled in India, featuring a hand-painted figurine of him at the centre of the dial.
Designed by Jacob & Co, the bejewelled timepiece includes sculpted figures of a lion and a Bengal tiger placed around Anant’s statue, which is seated on a chair.
According to an Instagram post by the brand, the centre of the dial is surrounded by finely detailed depictions of the two animals, alongside foliage motifs crafted using demantoid garnets, tsavorites, green sapphires and white diamonds.
Each gemstone was cut and set by hand to create depth, contrast and organic movement across the dial.
The watch incorporates around 397 gemstones with a combined weight of 21.98 carats, including diamonds, green sapphires, garnets and other precious stones.

While Jacob & Co has not disclosed the price, industry collective Watchopea estimates the watch’s value at £1.1 million.
The timepiece is not yet available in stores.
In a social media post unveiling the watch, Jacob & Co said the new luxury model was “a tribute to Vantara” and described Anant’s figurine at the centre of the dial as symbolising “stewardship and responsibility”.
The brand said the edition was created to honour Anant’s wildlife rescue and conservation initiative Vantara, which it described as being tipped to become the world’s biggest such effort.

Vantara, branded as a private wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centre, is located in Jamnagar in Gujarat.
The facility spans 3,500 acres and is home to more than 2,000 species, including lions, elephants and tigers. It is owned by Anant Ambani and is not open to the public.
The centre drew national attention in 2025 following allegations of unlawfully acquiring and mistreating animals.
However, a Supreme Court-appointed team later reported finding no evidence of wrongdoing.
Vantara is situated near Mukesh Ambani’s Jamnagar oil refinery, the largest in the world, and was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in March 2025.
It also served as one of the venues for Anant Ambani’s high-profile pre-wedding events in 2024, which attracted global media coverage.
The celebrations were attended by Bollywood stars and international celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Rihanna, alongside business leaders including Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.
Former British Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Boris Johnson were also present, as were Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner.
