As part of his wedding, Anant Ambani gifted limited-edition watches to some of his celebrity friends.
Anant’s lavish wedding to Radhika Merchant was attended by celebrities across the globe.
From Hardik Pandya to Kim Kardashian, the event was a grand affair.
A viral video now shows Anant’s generosity towards some of his guests as he gifted them exquisite timepieces.
It was a limited-edition Audemars Piguet Royal Oak ‘Luminary Edition’, each valued at around £138,000.
The likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Meezan Jafri were seen sporting the watch on their wrists.
The custom watch features a 41 mm 18K pink gold case, is 9.5 mm thick, and includes a sapphire crystal back and screw-locked crown.
It boasts a pink gold-toned dial with a Grande Tapisserie pattern, blue counters, pink gold hour markers, and Royal Oak hands with a luminescent coating.
The Manufacture Calibre 5134 self-winding movement includes a perpetual calendar with week indication, day, date, astronomical moon, month, leap year, hours, and minutes.
With a 40-hour power reserve, it comes with an 18K pink gold bracelet, an AP folding buckle, and an additional blue alligator strap, and is water resistant up to 20 metres.
Additional recipients of these watches also included Ranveer Singh, Shikhar Pahariya and Veer Pahariya, among others.
The expensive gift quickly garnered attention, with one saying:
“And they say India is one of the poorest countries. Ambanis showing off their money like there is no tomorrow.”
Another commented: “Get you a friend like Anant.”

Others used the opportunity to troll Ananya Panday, who received backlash for appearing to push Nick Jonas during the baraat.
A netizen said:

Anant Ambani is an aficionado of expensive watches and at his pre-wedding event in March 2024, Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla were raving over his Richard Mille watch.
As Priscilla leaned in to get a better look at Anant’s timepiece, she told him:
“This watch is fantastic.”
Mark chimed in: “I know, I told him that already.”
His wife added: “That is so cool.”
Mark Zuckerberg then explained that although he has never been much of a watch enthusiast, Anant’s timepiece may have changed his mind.
He said: “You know, I never really wanted to get a watch, but after seeing that, I was like, ‘Watches are cool’.”
Priscilla then joked that she “might want that”.
Anant Ambani also confirmed to the couple that the watch was a Richard Mille.
Anant did not specify the model but it is reported to be the RMS-10 Tourbillon Koi Fish, which features 18K rose gold and bezel-set diamonds.
The watch is estimated to be worth £770,000.
