KFC’s launch brings together two of Britain’s favourite cuisines
KFC is combining Indian street food flavours with its famous fried chicken as it launches a new Crispy Naan range across the UK.
The fast-food chain has unveiled four limited-edition menu items, including two new burgers that replace traditional buns with naan.
The move follows a growing trend for food fusion, with dishes such as sushi burritos and Mexican pizza becoming popular among consumers looking for new flavour combinations.
KFC’s launch brings together two of Britain’s favourite cuisines: fried chicken and curry.
The new range may also appeal to fans of McDonald’s McChicken Korma Naan, which was released as part of the chain’s 1990s menu and remains a nostalgic favourite for some customers.
The Tandoori Zinger Crispy Naan is the spicier option, featuring one of KFC’s Zinger chicken fillets alongside Tandoori sauce, tomato, red onion, lettuce and melted cheese, served between two naans.
For customers who prefer milder flavours, the Creamy Original Crispy Naan combines KFC’s Original Recipe chicken with a yoghurt and shallot sauce, which the chain describes as “creamy, tangy, fresh, and herby”.
Both naan burgers are priced at £7.49 individually, or £9.49 as part of a meal.
KFC is also introducing Tandoori Loaded Fries, which combine the chain’s signature spiced fries with Popcorn Chicken, creamy yoghurt sauce and tandoori sauce. The item is priced at £3.99.
For larger appetites, the Tandoori Dipping Feast offers up to 14 Original Recipe Tenders, two portions of Tandoori Loaded Fries, regular signature fries, sides, classic dips and a large drink for £26.99.
The new Crispy Naan range will be available at KFC restaurants nationwide from July 20.
However, the items will only remain on menus for five weeks, with the promotion ending on August 23.

Alongside its new food range, KFC is also expanding its speciality drinks offering by stepping into one of the hottest drink trends – matcha.
Kwench, which will now become a permanent fixture on the KFC menu, will feature two brand-new matcha drinks: Iced Strawberry Shortcake (£4.49) and Vanilla (£3.99).
Matcha has become one of the biggest drink trends in recent years, with coffee shops and food retailers across the UK introducing their own versions.
However, KFC’s move comes after several competitors have already entered the market.
Greggs launched its own iced matcha range earlier in 2026, while McDonald’s introduced a limited-edition Vanilla Matcha Frappé in June.
The launch comes as brands continue to experiment with global flavours and fusion food to attract customers looking for new and trend-led menu options.
