"She told me, 'My whole team has been watching you.'"
Pakistani content creator Adnan Zafar, widely known as Ken Doll, recently landed a major international collaboration with global beauty giant Huda Beauty.
He was invited to represent Pakistan at a high-profile perfume launch in London in May 2026, marking a significant milestone in his career.
Ken Doll was the only Pakistani creator invited to join Huda Kattan’s exclusive brand trip, rubbing shoulders with international influencers throughout.
The collaboration came on the back of his controversies going internationally viral, which ultimately worked entirely in his favour.
He spoke about the unexpected opportunity in a candid and revealing interview with Buraq Shabbir on BBC Urdu recently.
Reflecting on how the invitation arrived, Ken Doll described waking up to find a conversation already well underway in a group message.
“Faisalabad is the Manchester of Pakistan, so it wasn’t that difficult for me to reach London.
“They texted me in a group, and when I woke up, there was a discussion going on.
“I was like, ‘What’s happening here?’ and they were like, ‘You are going to London with us.
“It’s a huge perfume launch, and you are representing Pakistan.'”
He revealed that the Huda Beauty team had been closely watching his content, his persona and even the controversies surrounding him for some time.
“I was invited from Pakistan because I never followed boundaries.

“I never thought that men were exempt from skincare and looking good.
“Their team was closely watching what I do.
“They had an eye on my controversies and everything. I came to know this after meeting them.”
Huda Kattan herself confirmed to him just how closely her team had been following his journey before the invitation was extended.
He recalled: “She told me, ‘My whole team has been watching you.'”
Ken described the moment as both surreal and deeply validating for him.
In a witty reflection, he then thanked the very people who had tried to bring him down online.
“I am very thankful to the people who created controversies around me because they put me on an international platform.”
His account of finally meeting Huda Kattan in person was among the most emotionally charged moments of the entire BBC Urdu interview.
“It was an emotional meetup. I was about to cry. She loved me like a mother.
“She told me not to stop because what I am doing is very unique.”
“I became a totally different person after her kind words.”
Ken Doll took to Instagram throughout the London trip to document every memorable and glamorous moment of the experience for his followers.
He shared a full “get ready with me” video featuring an entire face of Huda Beauty products and a striking transition into his glam look.
Glimpses of his photoshoots, interactions with fellow international influencers and his beautifully decorated hotel room were also shared.
One of the most talked-about moments from the trip was his appearance alongside influencer Hala Owais in coordinated hot pink looks.
The duo brought an unmistakably desi energy to the international event.
