"I didn’t have the mental space."
Katrina Kaif has reacted to reports that she is set to tie the knot with her rumoured fiance Vicky Kaushal.
Rumours have been circulating that the pair are set to get married by the end of 2021.
Katrina and Vicky have been rumoured to be in a relationship since 2019 but neither has confirmed this.
It was recently reported that Katrina and Vicky are planning to wed in November or December 2021.
The pair have been linked to designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee and rumours have been circulating that the designer will be in charge of the couple’s wedding attire.
Despite many reports and rumours, Katrina has denied that she is to tie the knot with Vicky Kaushal in late 2021.
When asked about why the rumours started, Katrina said:
“That’s a question I have for the last 15 years.”
Katrina and Vicky were spotted on October 25, 2021, paying a visit to celebrity manager Reshma Shetty.
The Bollywood stars arrived and left in separate cars.
Ever since the rumours of the couple’s relationship started circulating, Katrina and Vicky have been tightlipped about it.
The pair have been spotted going on holiday together but shared solo photos on Instagram.
Vicky has also been spotted arriving and leaving Katrina’s residence multiple times.
In early October 2021, Katrina joined Vicky at the screening of Sardar Udham.
A video of the pair hugging at the venue emerged and was widely shared on social media.

Katrina also took to her Instagram stories to praise the biographical film.
Katrina wrote:
“Shoojit Sircar what a vision, such a gripping beautiful film, pure unadulterated storytelling.
“Vicky Kaushal is just pure talent, raw, honest, heartbreaking.”
In August 2021, it was reported that Katrina and Vicky secretly got engaged.
However, Katrina’s team quickly denied these rumours.
During promotions for his latest film Sardar Udham, Vicky revealed why he didn’t react to the engagement rumours at that time.
Vicky Kaushal said: “To be honest, I didn’t have the mental space, because I was right in the middle of a shoot.
“Funnily enough, what happens is, these rumours start at 9 am by the media and by 4:30, the media only negates the same rumours and says ‘no, it’s not true’.
“So, you don’t have to do anything.
“I had my blinders on, on my work, and I keep focusing on work.”
Katrina Kaif will next be seen in Sooryavanshi alongside Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar.
The Namastey London actress will also be seen in Phone Bhoot and Tiger 3.
